Taco Kale "Chips"
Our friend asked us how we would make kale chips, here you go Linda!
- Bunch of local Kale
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp, or more, Big Cove Foods: Taco Enhancer Number One
Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Shred Kale leaves, leaving stem behind, into bit size "chip" pieces.
Massage olive oil into the leaves and then sprinkle with our Taco Enhancer spice blend and toss again.
*note: we believe any one of our other custom spice blends would make kale chips taste great! This was an Elaine Vacheresse pick - and good pick it was! - So if you have a favourite, you can sub the taco out for that one!
Bake in oven for about 15-25 minutes. (ours took 23 minutes) Times may vary due to "chip" size and how well they were dried after washing. Keep an eye after 15 minutes - you want them to be crispy but not burnt.
