Pan Seared Shishito Peppers in Ancient Chinese Secret

This is so easy and such a nice treat on the side of your main meal or just as a tasty snack. These peppers are on the mild side, but if you're lucky you'll get the random spicy one! Good Luck!


250 g shishito peppers

2 tbsp grapeseed oil

1 tbsp Big Cove Foods 'Ancient Chinese Secret' spice blend

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil


Heat a large pan on medium high heat, splash the grapeseed oil in the pan. Once the oil starts to shimmer, add the peppers, whole. Allow the peppers to sear, shaking the pan and tossing the peppers about occasionally.


Add the Ancient Chinese Secret and soy sauce to the pan and toss around until evenly distributed, about 1 minute. Take the pan off the heat and toss in the sesame oil.
